Wow. Long title. I was recently trying to convinced my mother to bring me to a particular book festival. I eventually persuaded her by saying, "I'll be getting out of the house for a weekend and meeting people of my race!" She agreed. Here was a short lesson on "How to convince your parents to do something that you want to do but they don't want to do."
